Lucy & Steven tied the knot at Taplow House Hotel on 18th April 2015, the sun was shining, the flowers were blooming and the whole day was a great success!
I first met this lovely couple in January at the wedding venue to discuss their wedding style, flowers & over-all decoration for the day. I soon realised the pair knew exactly what they wanted, and how they wanted their wedding day to look & feel. This kind of decisiveness makes it a lot easier for a florist!
Lucy presented me with Pinterest boards and lots of inspiration for her wedding flowers, which gave an over-all feel of relaxed elegance in all ivory with hints of pink blush and fabulous succulent plants, Lucy & Steven loved the idea of lots of silver foliage so I made sure to use only Eucalyptus which also gave off a refreshing scent.
The couple insisted they didn’t want to go too ‘country’ with the flowers, with this in mind we used all clear glassware with elegant bud vases to decorate the mantlepiece & other areas within the venue. Table centrepieces consisted on a clean display of glass fishbowls along with a pair of mismatched bud vases containing ivory and blush blooms, plus a few strategically placed succulents!
The ‘Flower Menu’ used for this wedding is as follows;
-Eucalytpus ‘baby blue’
-Ranunculus ‘aazur white’
-Peony ‘Sarah Bernhard’
-Rosa ‘morning dew’
