Last year I was recommended by a school friend to decorate the lovely Jenny & James’s wedding at Lillibrooke Manor in Maidenhead.
After meeting up with Jenny, I soon discovered this crazy gal was going to have the brightest and most colourful wedding to date, and I couldn’t wait!
With an eclectic mix of flowers in a wide variety of colours, forms and textures, coupled with a typical English country barn in the countryside, the final outcome was amazing.
Bouquets were adorned with Roses, Thistles, Daisies, Craspedia, Rosemary, Chrysanthemums & Carnations just to name a few. Buttonholes were gorgeous little bunches of Cerise Roses, Rosemary & Thistle all tied together with twine, which perfectly matched the men’s fab Paisley printed ties.
The same flowers were used to fill mismatched jam jars (lovingly collected and decorated by Jenny & her family), which were placed just about everywhere around the ceremony room & venue along with watering cans over spilling with brightly coloured blooms.
The ceremony room looked very pretty with Ivy & foliages draped around the old rustic cartwheels which hung from the wall, dainty aisle flowers and large floral pedestal displays which framed Jenny & James beautifully as they pronounced their vows.
