The very lovely Lauren & Darren married last August 2014 at one of my most favourite venues, Wasing Park Aldermaston.
Lauren and I went to Burnham Grammar School together once upon a time, and so called upon me to provide her wedding flowers at Wasing Park, and create the right ambiance with lots & lots of candles (over 150 in total!).
It was the most perfect day. The sun was out, a secret garden ceremony and a luxurious barn, what more could one want from a wedding?!
An elegant, laid back flower theme of gold, peach, coral, pale pink and ivory complemented the surroundings beautifully. We decided on using mainly large headed Roses such as Sweet Avalanche (a very pale pink Rose), Miss Piggy (a coral Rose), fluffy peach Carnations, ivory Avalanche Roses, Gypsophila and gold foliages.
Lauren and Darren added lots of special touches like large personalised initials made from wine & champagne corks, and the gold ‘LOVE’ balloons I provided as a back-drop to their fantastic wedding cake, of which was made by the fabulous Kirsty at PoshPud (another school friend!)
The photographer that captured this special day perfectly is Alexis Jaworski, who very kindly let me use the images for this blog post.
Thank you Lauren & Darren for choosing us to decorate your wedding, we hope we made it that extra bit special!
