Stanlake Park Vineyard and Barns

I recently had the pleasure of meeting Charlotte from Heritage Venues at Stanlake Park Weddings. They showed me around their newly renovated premises (certain parts of which are still being finished as I type).

Stanlake Park is and has been a vineyard since 1979. It now boasts a rather lovely wedding venue amongst it’s grounds.

The grounds specifically are breath taking, with a walled garden and rolling countryside on it’s doorstep. I immediately saw plenty of beautiful backdrops for wedding photography.

Stanlake Park has two rustic style barns, The Coach House and The Vineyard Barn.

The Coach House

The Coach House is a ceremony only barn with a capacity of 90 people. This barn also features a stunning split level bridal preparation area (one of the nicest I have ever seen I must say). This barn has lovely high beams perfect for floral installations, and huge glass windows to let in plenty of light.

Just outside this barn is a lovely courtyard area perfect for a drinks reception following your ceremony. The courtyard is surrounded by characterful listed buildings and one side of the walled garden, all very rustic indeed.

The Vineyard Barn

The Vineyard Barn is the largest of the barns, and has capacity of 150 people seated. Here would be your wedding breakfast and party barn, (ceremonies can also be held here for the larger wedding). I was pleasantly surprised once I walked through the heavy wooden door at the sheer magnitude of this building, it’s very unassuming from the outside!

It’s perfectly laid out into three sections with huge windows all down one side (not your typical dingy dark windowless barn I can tell you).

My creative mind was whizzing, imagining the floral possibilities in this space.

All in all I was super impressed with Stanlake Park, and I can’t wait to work here hopefully in the not so distant future!
